HAPPY AND NOT SO HAPPY
So many things have happened this week. I shall list all of them down.
Not-so-happy things: 1. Got beaten at Geochallenge after being NUMBER ONE for ONE PATHETIC DAY 2. IH assignment (badly done) 3. Chinese SIA presentation (spent so long editing and overshot time limit) 4. Slept late every night even before finals (BAD BAD BAD) 4. Trained and passed like shit especially for throw-ins before finals 5. Brother got a free holiday for PTM while I was stuck in school 6. Had to go for prize-giving and missed 1-2 hours of training 7. SPRAINED ANKLE!(OMG) 8. INJECTION!(OMG)
Happy things: 1. Popular and Kinokuniya vouchers (MUAHAHAHA BOOKS HERE I COME) 2. Extension for math portfolio reflection 3. Did not have to go home myself after trainings 4. Did not miss SOT lesson 5. Netball dinner 6. Ms Lin gave us towel and mine was thankfully NOT pink 7. SHIHUI ZHENGLIANG AND CHERYNN WORKED WELL TOGETHER (THANKFULLY) 8. WEST ZONE CHAMPS! (YAY)
That's for the past week. For this week, it's just tonnes and tonnes and tonnes of homework. What a wonderful way to spend the March holidays.

FINALS!
Yesterday's match was 34-16... WE ARE GOING TO FINALS! I'm super excited about it but thinking about homework kind of spoils it. Oh well, happiness drops you back to reality sometimes. I will go and do my stuff later. But on friday, I hope there will still be the fighting spirit and we can turn the tables back. I'm already quite excited about training on tues, wed and thurs. Weirdly though, I feel that this year netball takes up a larger part of my life, even more than schoolwork. It's good though but maybe I should regain my focus. And there's a pattern: my first and last year in nanyang netball, we are going FINALS! YAYYYYYYY!
Anyway, I haven't forgotten the supporters. Although we thanked you already, I am still very grateful that you came down. Thanks to Alicia, Zexin, Iris, Germaine, Jody, Amelia, Amaris, the 410 people and all the other netballers. And even seniors like Jiaomei and Ms Yeo. Ah it's so great that we had supporters. It's rarely that nanyang netballers get supporters for matches. Credits go to Ms Chia and Mdm Teo for rallying people to go! YAY I HOPE YOU CAN COME DOWN FOR FINALS TOO!
Oh, as for the graces camp we missed, I had a fun time looking through everything on facebook. AHAHAHA. It looked kind of fun (minus all the dresses and heals and make up) and I laughed a lot. I shan't say who and what I laughed at. It's kind of shocking really to see how everyone looked so grown up. It's actually weirdly creepy. Nevertheless, I'm glad I didn't have to go for such a formal thing. I have always hated etiquettes and stuff. I mean etiquette in sports is fine but ugh, formal stuff? Anyway, I hope those people who came back from graces had a nice long sleep yesterday night since a lot of them look so sleep-deprived in their photos. AHAHAHA. I guess I can't keep that laughter or smile off my face because of the photos and also because of yesterday. HAHAHAHA.
Okay, both things are making me a bit insane so I shall control myself and regain my sane state. Anyway,
JIAYOU NANYANG NETBALL WE CAN DO IT!

IT'S BEEN AGES.
I know I haven't posted for really long but I just decided to blog since everyone has been talking themselves. To be honest, I was super angry with myself for the last match. I have this bad problem- too slow and keep moving backwards. So I need to stop the front and go intercept! Never mind I can do this and I shall do this tomorrow. I know I can do it.
Today's unexpected events was both sad and happy. I feel really sorry for the juniors but was really proud that they played really well against nanhua. I am very proud of them truly, they didn't deserve this but it was true that nanhua did play well today. As for the other thing, I'm actually kind of neutral but okay a little happy but mostly excited. Must PLAY WELL!
No more mistakes from now on. I know we can do this. JIAYOU EVERYONE! WE HAVE THE FIGHTING SPIRIT AND WE WILL KEEP GOING!

I'm Yu Xuan and fifteen this year. This means I'm sadly not entitled to many things. My life is under control currently (thanks to my very practical and sensible parents). I may appear sensible to you but you must never judge a book by its cover.
